Kronos Quartet's 30 years anniversary concert VISUAL MUSIC
After touring Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Paris, and New York, VISUAL MUSIC finally makes its premiere in San Francisco!
Check out the video stylings of the Drum Machine Museum's own Mickey T and others in this multimedia production featuring sounds from the Kronos Quartet. The Grammy-winning strings quartet, known to genre bend with everyone from Jimi Hendrix to techno-geeks like Matmos and Nortec Collective to minimalist heavy-hitter Phillip Glass, push the envelope even further with Visual Music. It's an event that tosses video, lighting design, live performance, and sound sculpture into the sensory blender and presses "puree." What's a sound sculpture? Show up to find out.

Kronos Quartet will perform live music composed by Steve Reich, Bernard Hermann, John Zorn, Conlon Nancarrow, Krzysztof Penderecki, Sigur Ros, and more.
